Wow. The last two days flew by in a breeze. I resurfaced at an in-person event after missing out for three years, and boy, how good this feels.
I'm currently in the hotel room, it is somewhat past 23:30, my head is spinning (again), trying to sort through the impressions, interactions and inspirations of the two days at the Beyond Tellerrand Conference.
I have to admit, my social interactions muscle isn't in a very good shape, but nonetheless I enjoyed being among like-minded people again.
Meeting old friends and making new ones was and is a large part of what makes this event so precious for me -- but this time this felt exhausting way sooner than it used to for me. Which is why I'm in the hotel right now and not enjoying beverages in Düsseldorf's Old Town.
I'm happy that "that" Btconf spirit is still going strong, and that Marc's Conference is back in full swing. The event was packed, packed with a sold out audience and packed with interesting talks and speakers.
In keeping with "AI" being the new Hot currently (but luckily not so much as a topic on stage at the conference), even ChatGPT is impressed:
Beyond Tellerrand is a conference for web designers and developers, held annually in Düsseldorf, Germany. It brings together some of the most innovative minds in the industry to share their knowledge, experience, and insights.
The conference is a two-day event, packed with workshops, presentations, and discussions. The speakers come from different backgrounds, including design, development, and marketing, and their talks cover a wide range of topics, from UX design and front-end development to branding and content creation.
One of the standout features of Beyond Tellerrand is the quality of the presentations. The speakers are chosen for their expertise and ability to inspire, and they deliver engaging talks that are both informative and entertaining. Attendees can expect to learn new techniques, hear about the latest trends and technologies, and gain valuable insights into the creative process.
Another great aspect of Beyond Tellerrand is the opportunity to network with fellow professionals. The conference attracts designers and developers from all over the world, making it an excellent place to meet like-minded individuals and build connections that can lead to future collaborations.
In addition to the main conference, Beyond Tellerrand also hosts a number of side events, such as workshops, meetups, and parties. These events provide further opportunities to learn, socialize, and have fun with other attendees.
The organizers of Beyond Tellerrand place a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion. They strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment for people of all backgrounds and identities, and this is reflected in the selection of speakers and attendees.
Overall, Beyond Tellerrand is an exceptional conference that offers a wealth of opportunities for web designers and developers to learn, connect, and be inspired. If you're looking to stay on top of the latest trends in the industry, meet new people, and expand your skills, this conference is definitely worth attending.
Well said, ChatGPT, well said.
I will revisit the talks once they are available on Vimeo or youtube, I will wear yet another very nice T-Shirt and I am looking forward for the next event.
Once again: Thank you, Marc for keep on keeping on, despite the last tough years for an event organizer.
It's good to be back.
